Tempsure Uses a Monopolar radio frequency configuration, consisting of an active treatment electrode and a passive one which acts as the grounding electrode or neutral pad. The primary advantage of the monopolar device is its deeper penetration of the emitted current, resulting in lower required energy levels leading to less discomfort and minimal adverse events.

Immediate changes may be noticeable including, slight erythema, mild edema and collagen contraction. Neocollagenesis occurs over time and can be evident at around 4 weeks and can continue up to 6 months.

Multiple treatments are suggested, a minimum of 3-5 treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart is recommended.

Treatment times vary from 5-45 minutes depending on the area being treated and the handpiece used. Tempsure Flexsure treatments for body areas require 15-20 minutes while abdomen treatments using Tempsure Firm only require 5-7 minutes.
